                  ON. --- Janice
                  Byer of Caledon East, owner of Docu-Type Administrative
                  Services (www.docutype.net), has been honoured with another award for her
                    outstanding achievements as a home-based entrepreneur. On
                    October 24th, 2000, the Brampton Small Business
                    Enterprise Centre (SBEC) presented Ms. Byer with the Home
                      Based Business of the Year Award. The award was
                    presented during the Brampton Board of Trade’s
                    Afterbusiness networking evening, which followed the Bridges
                    to Better Business trade fair at the Brampton Sports and
                    Entertainment Centre.
                    
                
                
                
                         Byer, who has operated her successful Virtual
                  Assistance and Website Design company from her home since
                  1998, was recognized for her outstanding progress in her
                  home based business through planning, growth and customer
                  satisfaction; and for her willingness to assist other
                  entrepreneurs and small business owners increase their
                  productivity.
                     
                
                         The SBEC (www.brampton-business.com)
                  provides resources and services to help the small business
                  owner/entrepreneur start or grow a business in Ontario. They
                  work in conjunction with many corporations, including the
                  City of Brampton, Towns of Caledon & Orangeville,
                  Brampton Board of Trade, and many more, to make the
